I received a few requests for the Shabbat Blog Closed sign I use. Well, mine is done in html with my own animated drawings and its a bit complicated to set up here for you to copy.
So I made all new animations that you can use if you wish. Here are three new ones.

I will try to make others in different colors if people seem interested enough.

I would appreciate a link back to Lemon Lime Moon as these take a bit of time to make and are all hand drawn and animated by me.

Right click and save to your own computer. Then upload to a host like Photobucket or tinypic if you wish. Then use the link there using the following format:

If you try to upload it using blogger from your own computer the animation will not work at all.
Simply save as a draft til ready to use and then change the date to use each Friday. Save as draft again after Shabbat.

Here is an "update" gif you can use for your blog if you wish. Just right click and save as a gif. You must always save animations as gifs. Then you have to host it somewhere.
On the new Beta Blogger, animations do not seen to show up if you upload them using blogger itself. Don't upload using blogger's "add image" or it will not remain animated.

Use this formula to add the animation to your blog

Here are some Pat Paulsen for President Buttons that you can click on a save .They are gifs so that they will be transparent..so save them as a gif and they will go nicely on any background that way. If you save as a jpg it will have a white background which you do not want.

Pat Paulsen was a wonderful, funny man. If only our candidates today really had some of his down to earth personality.

Snowman for you. Just right click and save him on your computer. Use him any way you wish. Put your name on him to use for a signature for email if you wish. Linking to cottage would be nice but not necessary if you don't wish to. Happy winter.
If you wish to add your name etc. you have to do this in an animation program which will pull apart the animation for you . Then you can write your name on the animations. They must align perfectly or it will move or blink. If you write it only on one picture in the animation your name will blink off and on. If you write your name on him in paint, photoshop or psp, he will no longer be animated. remember always to save animations are gifs so they remain with a transparent background. JPGs always save with a white background to them.
